I see a lot of herps kept with Goldens. Usually tokay geckos and smaller species of day geckos. Occasionally, I've seen curly-tailed lizards and white's tree frogs kept with them too, but I don't know how well that usually works out. I don't know much about geckos, but if you want you can do some research (I'm also not sure how many you could fit into a 20 gallon). Good luck
Thanks for the replys. I know mixing reptiles isnt advisable but I would like having a more handalable lizard as my Goldie gets stressed when held for extended periods of time. Also all my local shops don't carry them anymore. Would anoles or a lacerta work with a male gecko?
Anything that would not hurt your gecko would be hurt by it. It's not a great idea to mix species, much less whole other genuses in the first place, but having a male in the mix will result in disaster.
