I currently have a pair of flowerhorns spawning and my male won't let the female in the pot to lay her eggs, she has to sneak in to do so but he immediatley bites her and chases her off, what is the deal? I mean hes gone over the eggs she has laid several times and hasn't stopped dumping his load. she still continues to go in the pot but only on the very edge and is only able to lay 3-4 eggs at a time before he bites the crap out of her, is he just overly aggressive and desperate? I am afraid the female will get bound up.
