I saw one of these guys at the local fish store and he is a really good looking fish and i wanted to get him. Can everyone on here give all i need to know about these guys such as diet, tanksize, maximum size, tank mates, etc.

they are mislabeled as ahli.. it is more then likely fryeri.. they have the intense blue coloration unlike the male ahli..
I agree with the two above, fryeris are mislabeled as ahli in the hobby. Ahlis have disappeared in the hobby and are much more rare than the fryeris.
i also echo that its probably a sci. fryeri. i have a beautiful male, and he is in a 90 gallon right now. i had him with my mixed mbuna, but they were too hectic and he was stressed and almost starved to death before i moved him. hes fattening back up now.
they need to be with other haps and peacocks- i dont think they can handle the aggression and fast pace of mbunas. he is by far a beauty, and one of my favorite fish..

Yea thats what it looks like and can you give me some species of haps and peacocks that would fit in a 75g or 90g tank what kind of filtration do you think would needed, and what would the tank setup needed.
