whats up MFK,

I have a tall 48 gallon tank with 2 EBJDs one male and the other female. I use sump filtration which runs at about 650+ GPH. When they are big enough I'm going to get an 80 gallon acrylic. I was wondering if I could add a green terror to the mix.

all advice appreciated, preferably people with experience with green terrors, THANKS! :headbang2

Personally I wouldn't add the GT until they are in a larger tank. You could maybe get away with it in the 48 gallon, but I wouldn't risk it with ebjd's. They are very prone to illness, Just my opinion. However, in my 220 I have both a 4.5" male gt and a 6.5" male ebjd amongst other CA/SA cichlids, and they get along perfectly. Are there any more tankmates in the 48g?

I agree

stuff like this all depends on the fish.

I personally wouldn't do it in the 48 gallon. That's a pretty small tank for 3 cichlids. EBJD's under a certain size are more prone to infection and disease, but they're not nearly as aggressive as a GT would be. Personally I'd just stick with the EBJD's and either get some dithers or black veil angels as tank mates.

That is the million dollar answer. Now obviously if you were to add the GT he must be around there size.
