male and female festae are the same size

I have 5 festaes and i have a male and a female that are bot the biggest and the prettiest. I'm afraid they will be the same size and the female won't be able to catch a brake when they will breed. She is also more aggressive eater than the male. I separated the male on the other side and i was planning to powerfeed him so he could grow a bit quicker. how much and how often should i feed him compared to the others ? Should i rather let them live their life without a divider and hope the males grows bigger and faster ? they are closing in on 4inches

I’d just left them stay together as long as they get along. I’d think separating them would just cause problems later on when you try to remove the divider.
