Male and female jd???

There is 1 picture of the darker fish which I believe is a female. The 4 other pics are what I believe is the male. Can someone confirm that please? I own the lighter one. If they are male and female I want to get the female. What's the likely that they will pair off?

Welcome to MFK. the bottom pic is definitely a female, the rounded anal fin, spangled lower gill plate and more prevalent vertical barring are all indicators.

Not sure if they will pair up or not. I would say as long as your water parameters are good, and they are a similar size, the odds are pretty good.
