Male Bichir grows faster and bigger than Female ones?

I am noticing that Male bichirs tends to grow faster and bigger than the Female ones. I'm not quite sure if this is really true but this is what I have observed with my friends Bichirs (Ornates to be exact) after 4 years. I will try to capture a picture for those bichirs.

I would like to know if you have the same observations that I have.
