Male convict cichlid with red patch???

Oops sorry I didn't mean to post that yet so I got two convict cichlids and I thought I got a male and a female but the male has a red patch like the female but he has a male convict cichlids fins I'm confused anyone have any advice on whether it is a male/female? And anyone have any advice on breeding them?

female, there are times that females get to hook up with each other, lay some eggs, but ofcourse it's a lesbian thing, lol. No babies.
 
100% female.

My female has long flowing fins as well ..you cannot go off of fin shape alone.

I will agree with everyone else. I have also seen females with very long fins but never a male with the red patch seen on females.
