I have a pair of cons with a group of tiger barbs for dithers. Will or could a five inch male convict eat tiger barbs? I can't find two of them and haven't lost a fish in a long, long time.

Convicts are little F--ers. I could easily see one eating a barb. My Redtail Shark destroyed a barb and I think Convicts are nastier.

Start moving things aroung in the tank to see if there is a carcass...

get the barbs bigger than the cons. some yellowbelly barbs or red tinfoil barbs

Did water changes on my tanks today. I found a very small piece of what might have been a tiger barb. I'm sure my big male convict named "fatty" has made a couple of meals for himself. That is nothing to what my frontosa's are going to do with the giant danios cruising around in their tank right now. Fortunately for my danios, they are almost the same size as my fronts, but not for long.

the cons probably just killed the barb and picked at it, could definitely happen even with the speed of the barbs
