I've heard females sometimes never develop the orange sides. I've had my pair for a couple weeks and they haven't spawned, is why I'm curious. I keep hearing that the slope of the forehead is a good way to tell, but I'm lost lol. Any other way to tell? I would post a pic, but can't figure out how

They all develops the orange/red spots unless they're too young

There are some strains I personally collected which had great orange while some (coatepeque) had none...
