male EBJD max adult size

I know a quick Google search seems like it could answer this qiestion, but I have a male EBJD who has recently exceeded 5.5inches in length, possibly 6".
I thought the 5 inch mark was the max one could reasonably expect.

if it lives long enough can expect same as you would with a regular JD, 8 to 9"

There was a 9" one at the local Petland here the other day, they wanted $100 for him. His eyes were cloudy as hell though and looked in poor shape. Was pretty sad. They had him alone in one of the small cube tanks. Had to do a double take when I saw the writing on the tank because I didn't believe it at first. That snout is unmistakable though.

Jesus, that one even has a slight nuchal hump. I'm positive mine is a male, but at 6" he still has no hump. Didn't think EBJD's could ever develop one

Ya that was in a tank with about 40 other monster blues.
Being the dominant blue in the tank, he developed the nuchal hump. True beast of beautiful jack dempsey
