Male:Female convict ratio?

I found free swimming fry with my first pair in 2 weeks...but it's been 3 weeks with my second pair and the male always chases the female out and they don't seem to be paired up. I was thinking of adding 2-4 more convicts of the same size, what should the male:female ratio be?
