male?female? HOW CAN YOU TELL?

Does anyone REALLY know how to sex rbp`s? Heard alot of different things but dont know who to believe. THX.

you can't tell a female, apart from a male but there have been ppl saying that a big stomach is usually a sign of an egg-bound female, but this isn't always the case, it could just be internal parasites

i agree, piranhas are NOT sexually dimorphic. However if you happen to watch a breeding pair for quite some time you will be able to spot the female from the male. But at the beggining you are just guessing.

my old rpb bred in a 20l for 3 months they bred, never could tell them apart
i geuss u have to look for the egg shoot thingy
