Male/female jaguar

Hi all. Had this little man/lady for the last few months and just growing them out. He/she has already killed the smaller one in the tank and is now flourishing! He/she is about 3-4 inches right now and is an absolute stunner! Just wondered if at this size can it be sexed. Cheers

I was rooting for a male so I’m very happy to have him. I have a 5ft tank but that already has a full adult Oscar and a bircher so in the next 6 months I’m upgrading to a 7x2x2 and I’m preying they all get on. Either way I will be keeping the jag. Been a bit of a dream fish for me for a while.

My vote would also be male but wouldn't be surprised if it was female with slanted head and very little spangles on gill plate. But still young.

Couldn’t resist a couple of extra shots of this jag today. Boy or girl it’s such a stunning looking fish. Fingers crossed it’s a boy though.
