Male fish are like single men

I have been doing a bit of reading on how and why fish select a specific mate and came across this, sounds like me in my late teens, early twentys.

That's so true for guppies. All my males seem to court the biggest females while the smaller ones get to swim freely without harassment from the males. While on the other hand I pickup 2 new males from my brother n law that was housed with only 4 females and tons of males, they try to court with every single female in my tank. Kinda like men, When you've been around the same girls all the time you just don't seem interested but the minute some new girl pops up, it's like damn game time.
