Couple of pictures I took last night. This guy is about a year old and is just starting to get "the look". He is about 5 inches from lips to tip of tail.

Looking good! I have three Fronts in a 55gal and they are slow growing despite all the krill the eat! Only one of them is 5 inches.. the other two are two or three inches. How big is your tank?
I have 5 fronts in a 125 with a tetracanthus and scads of young brichardi. I have so many &%$# brichardi right now I don't know what to do with them all. When they were very small fry I threw about 18 of them in the 125 thinking that the fronts would snack on them. Well I still have about 18 brichardi in that tank and I need to think about getting some of them out before they start to pair off and spawn. Those fish breed like gerbils... Frontosas are such gentle giants. Brichardi are impossible to catch...
I believe that I have 2 male fronts and 3 females. I started with 6 fry and lost one along the way. The male in the pic is the dominant fish, the other male is a lot smaller. The females are even smaller than the non-alpha male. The alpha male is about twice as big as the females.

Thats a nice looking front! I have 2 of them one is about 2 inches and the other is 3 I ve had them for 7-8 months now The one exploded in growth over the second one O__o I lost the 3rd one a few months ago to some weird fungul looking thing.
