my "male" GBR has the indications of being a male such as : longer front dorsal fin, little to no black on pelvic fin, long pelvic fins and larger size.
but every GBR is supposed to have a black spot behind their eye.. determening the darkness of this indicates sex. however mine has no black spot.... so i am confused on if he is a male orrr just bad breeding?

and my "female" has small dorsal fins, along with black pelvic fins, slightly shorter pelvic fins, and somewhat smaller size, however it does have the black spot, and it is dark but not jet black i can definitely see shimmers through it.

so what is the deal why are the spots conflicting with sexing my rams lol, any advice will be greatly appreciated. ill post pics if i get some interest
thanks=)

Females have pink on their bellies - males don't. Females also have a black spot on their body that lightly rimmed in blue (need lighing to see this).
