your menezesi is nice and fat your del looks like it's put on some good size. what are you feeding it? mine's hardly grown at all in the last year

It's closer to 7", it was resting right next to the glass so I measured it. I feed it hikari sinking cichlid gold and omega one cichlid pellets.

The menezesi is a pig, it will take 2 or 3 pellets at a time, and compared to the size of the fish they are large pellets.

my sveni is pretty picky when it comes to food. he seems to only like freeze dried shrimp/krill or frozen blood worms. all my other fish eat pellets but he spits them out.

I'd like to add some more bichirs, they aren't very common around here though and I don't want to pay for shipping.
