This pretty boy hooked up with my "Electric Blue" Convict hybrid last month and had a successful spawn.

Then two weeks ago he switched partners and was successful with my big female Convict.

Now he is back with the first and paired upwith her again. He has a good life :)

My Mixteco Gold is especially ornery today. Especially when sifting for pellets. Since I moved the Nics out, He is Alpha now

What is an Electric Blue Convict Hybrid? Ebjd x con?
 
Actually there is no such thing as an "Electric Blue Convict". Its a name a LFS put on it.

I appears to be a HRP x Con hybrid. Fairly small at two years old. Too blue and no orange on the belly so not true Con and Dark pronounced bars and no red fins so not true HRP.

I had a male HRP that paired up with one of my black Con's and I have a gorgeous little female from that spawn growing out. I also had a pink Con pair up with and spawn with a male Cutteri. I'm waiting on a male from that bunch to breed with her and see what happens. Kind of aiming for my own unique hybrid fish that I'll know the bloodline to.
 
Here is the fish in question. I still say shes a mutt.
