I have recently inherited a mated pair of Jack Dempsey's from an evicted neighbor. The male is about 7" and the female is only about 4". I have a BEAUTIFUL JD in my big African/South American community tank that I would like to breed with this little hussie. I just need a place to stash the big JD so I'm up for suggestions. I live in DFW and would be happy to give it to a good home if anyone would be willing to come pick it up or pay for the shipping. He's a pretty fish, good coloration, but he just isn't as pretty as the one I already had and I'd like to see what happens when I get mine to breed with the female. I can send pics upon request. . . I just want to see him go to a good home and most pet shops aren't very eager to pick up a JD of this size.
