Male or female Acarichthys heckelii?

I bought this thinking it to be a male due to the pointed fins. What does everybody else think.

A. heckelii are known as the threadfin acara, both males and females get long trailers on the dorsal and anal fins so it's not a good way to try to sex them.

I don't know what sex it is, good looking fish though.

How big is it? I'd say female as it certainly isn't as colourful and doesn't have the long fins that my males do. I've got two that are quite colourful and have very long red trailers on their dorsal fins and one which is smaller and less colourful, so I'm guessing its a female.

It's just the angles making it look more compact, and the streamers are easily bitten off depending on what other fish are in the tank. I'd say female but that's purely a guess.
