These guys breed at around 3 inches sometimes... same from cyanos... to answer your question.

ya cross i lost my male but i do still have my female festea. the male died due to parisite and my female was always smaller then the rest of my sa so when i added her she got her ass beat overnight by the rosequeen so since shes been recovering. i give her another 2 weeks and she be ready to breed.
