Male or Female Devil?

Got this 9inch devil yesterday and it's getting very comfortable with my old supposedly male 10inch Jaguar.

So, is it male or female? And is there a risk of them getting jiggy with it and making some hybrids? (i'd really rather they didn't!)

At 9" and no head growth I'd say female, if they spawn just don't save the fry, they will disappear. Ken

Thanks for that fishfarm, i'll keep an eye on them.

They just seem friendly atm, no sign of dancing around each other yet. Any fry would probably end up inside my several aggresive cat fish so no fear of them ever ending up on the market.
