Male or female Dovii opinions

There are faint spots on the dorsal fin. The anal and caudal fins don't have spots.

About 3.5" to 4 " size

We need a better picture of the fish. But from that view I'm almost certain that it's a male.

Spotting in the unpaired fins and heavier spotting on the sides usually means male. At that size it should be showing color soon.
