Male or female Festae (vent shot)

I got this Festae about 2". Could you tell me if its a male or a female.

not sure. just grow him out awile longer and you will know. either way you cant go wrong. male and female are both awesome.

V is male and U is female.....looks like a U to me but hard to tell.
Might have to wait til it gets bigger or maybe some of the experts can say for sure.

How about a close up full profile shot of it in the tank?

Thanks Balton, now i can lean more at female. I will have a thread on him in 2 months, he is currently in a 100g tank (60x20x20") with a 4" convict male, 4" senegalus and a 10,5" Ropefish.
