male or female flowerhorn?

Appears a little stressed. Nice fins. hopefully it'll color up for you. Can't tell its sex by these pics...grow it out a little then vent it. Hope it eats cuz the white stringy poop is not a good sign of a healthy fish. How long have you had it?
If i had to make a guess on sex I would say female. Nice flower lines and the red looks like it will be intense on her fins. However I too am VERY concerned with the white stringy feces. That is not a good sign because it usually means there is a digestive problem/infection.
+1 on the white poop. fh are very2 prone to hexamita. i say it's a male, no spots on dorsal fins which indicates it's a female if they have em. however, sumtimes males also have them. grow it a bit and vent it.
