Male or female green terror?

i have a friend who wanted to know the gender of his green terror can anyone sex it at the size its at?

To be honest, It could still go either way. The body shape suggests Female, however, the colours and fin extensions suggest Male. I would wait a short while longer and you will produce more reliable results (moreso than people guessing).

Some closer, higher quality pictures would help too.

Nah a female has a shorter dorsal fin and doesn't extend as age as a males a males dorsal fin extends almost to the tip of the tail where a females doesnt

I say it could go either way, but IMO body shape and color suggests MALE, but fins suggest FEMALE. Just my take.

tough one! I have no clue based on these pics, need to either get better lighting photos, or wait for more maturity. Early guess would be female, but that's based on flimsy evidence
