Looks almost too small to tell. If you're worried about cross breeding it shouldn't be a issue because as far as I understand it, SA (GT) wouldn't hybridized with CA cichlid. Just what I've heard, I can't personally back that up.

No just worried about colorization I finally found a beautiful male Jd the females seem colorless in many species so I'm worried about that...... About what size can I tell and how?

I honestly can't say for sure, not my area of expertise (though nothing really is right now), but I'd guess 3" give or take. I know you'll be able to tell by either the presents of a nucal hump or, more tellingly, the size of the Orange stripe on the fins. Males generally have a much wider stripe (so I've been told).
