ok so apparently i mis mesured my JD for awhile hes close to 4 1/2 to 5 inches instead of 3 like i thought, so i decided i might try to see if i might be able to breed him one of these days but can anyone tell me if the top one here is a male or female?

ah ok, she just got put in the tank today, i read that males will tend to chase around the females and be mean ect, mine is doing that right now, so i assume thats normal for the 2?

I agree that its a female and yes it is normal for him to chase her. Especially if you introduced her into "his" territory. Good luck!

yeah he was the only JD in there besides a pleco, and a few loaches lol so u think it might calm down after a bit? (only in for about 30 minuets)
