Male or Female JD

I also need help in determining if I have a pair here. The first three pics I believe are the female. The 4th pic is the male I think. The JD in the first three pics was kind of a rescue situation, the 4th pic was purchaesd Form Wetsoptx in Portland. Any help woug be appreciated.

What do you guys think, are the first three pics of a female and the last pic a male???? A little help here????
 
I'd say both are male. The first one is really nice.
 
They both look male to me.I see where You are thinking the 1st is female, as it has more color on the gill plate than your average male.
 
I would say both male 1st pic is a nice male,But has alot more color on the gill plate but its not like a beard you can still see the gill plate through the spangle spaces.

A female JD when mature will almost have like a 5o'clock shadow and the spangles overlap most of the time.
 
uh, yeah. I'd say the first three pics are of a female, and the last pic is of a male.
