Thanks for your opinion-

But other's on FHUSA have commented very highly on my mostly trimac. So although you happen to be looking for FH qualities-Look alittle further next time at the species at hand and you will find I have a very nice specimen-But to each their own....

but it is not a pure trimac, therefore it msut be judged as a fh

True,true-To a point though....N e one that can tell a Fh from a Trimac, knows what I got here-This is not an easy fish to ever replace-

But ne how the quality of my fish is not what is in ? here-N e one that can ? the quality, need not even reply...I know what I have quality wise-

Just wanted to confirm gender was all...

Oooooooh the question marks stand for the word question...I get it. That was confusing.

You mean to tell me you know how high of a grade it is, but you can't tell if its a male or a female? How is that possible? You would have to know the gender to determine how high of a grade it is...

I think you have a male trimac is what I think you have. I don't even think it is a trimac hybrid.

here are some trimacs and I think they look just like yours...One of those is even from Rapps so it can't possibly be mistaken.

I dont even remotely want to sound like a smart ass to you (for helping me out here). But in my first post I state that I have been told it is a male-I got this confirmation over two years ago now and just plain forgot and began to ? myself is all-So I wanted to ask the ? again to reasure myself-
I believe to have a hybrid only because one of the "flowers" is out of place-Maybe I am wrong for thinking this way-
As for the quality issue-I stand by what I say-I know darn good and well he is a quality fish-Maybe not high-But certainly no low grade crap here-I have been asked to breed him from certain people but he just wont take to tank mates-Period......Oh yeah and for ne one that asks-He is currently right at the 13 to 14 inch mark

I am not meaning to sound like a smartass here either I just want to explain the difference to you so you can understand, but when you throw the word grade around when speaking of flowerhorns it refers to certain factors that make up a high quality competition line fish.

since it isn't a flowerhorn it doesn't have a grade...

I am not saying your fish is low quality. He looks big, healthy, and beautiful, but it doesn't look like it is a flowerhorn and therefore cannot have a grade.

grade refers to flowerhorns only. What you have is a high quality fish, not a high grade fish.

does that make sense?

LOL-

Makes perfectly good sense-

But remeber or reread and one would also see that you were the first to refer to it as so(Grade).-I was only pointing out to the other people that his "quality" was not in ? here-

Yes I took the bait and replied saying Grade(Only in my last post, and was only pointing out that my fish is not low quality and mistakingly once again said Grade)-That is my mistake-Sorry for that confusion....

Thanks for the teaching lesson...
