Male. Just looks a bit like a late bloomer. Give him a female and then his colors will start to pop

Kinda sucks because the male I gave toy buddy and I end up with the female! So I havea a 3.5 inch male from a grow out that is just blinging with blue and looks like he ate a chery pie, so if he looks really good at that size he will only get better correct? Or do you think that WC Male above is worth keeping instead Cause he is a wild caught? What would you guys do?

Keep the one you like best because your female is wild caught so unless you think the one male is inbred, deformed, or has some bad trait you don't want to pass on to fry then the pair will be completely unrelated so the fry will be fine. Just pair her with the best male of the two. Where did the other male come from is it from Dans pair?
