Male or female vent opinion

I’m trying to learn about proper venting and have been looking at a lot of pics and videos lately, this looks like a female to me.

I realize the vent looks a little larger than above but it has a somewhat "V" shape bottom edge.
Any others with experience feel confident one way or another?

Agreed, definitely a female. Generally if the vent is bigger then the anus it's a female. If the vent is the same size or smaller then the anus it's a male. With how OP's pics look it's definitely a female, also looks like she's either close to laying eggs or that she's just a bit fat atm.

Lol atleast your one of the few ppl on here that will actually take a fish out of the tank to get a proper vent pic instead of just trying to take a side view pic while it's in the tank like most others do. So much easier to ID with pics like these.

Btw ya got any pics of the lil lady in her tank? Also any plans on breeding her in the future?
