Male or Female?

It looks like a male saulosi to me. Does he ever get any darker?
 
No....It would be nice if it is though. It was one of two "freebies" (the other looks about the same except is lighter in color, almost white with the stripes) in case of doa when I ordered mbuna (socolofi & red zebras) ................They said it was kenyi. From reading about them, my understanding is the males are very aggressive.
 
with kenyi males and females are quite aggressive, more so the male than female.

i say they're female. by three inches they would have changed colors. males turn yellow/orange, females are blue
 
are you keeping them in a tank by themselves? or what are the other tankmates if not?
 
They are in with my socolofi and red zebra right now. I am hopefully going to find a new home (free to good home) for them but I wanted to be sure to have it right when asked about them.
 
Do you think they will be difficult to find a home for? I thought about listing them on here but I am not looking to get anything for them. According to the Marketplace I am suppose to list a price.
