ohio
i have two oscars how do i tell if they are male or female:(

Oscars have no sexual dimorphism. The only way you could tell is by venting. :D

ok so darn i love them so much lol

Well, if they're small enough to fit in your 20g i doubt they're big enough to breed anyway. :D

ok thanks for the info i was just curios any other time i post i get insulted and i get told im patheic and i should stop with fish

Well looking at your signature I can see why.

The two Oscars in a 20 gallon tank will not be able to stay in there very long. I don't know much about RBP's but as for the Pacu in the 55g, same thing.

I think the reason people are hard on you is becaues of the potential size of the fish you keep and you are housing them in small tanks. ;)

Have you ever thought there may be a reason for all the insults?

A little research can go a long way to stop the flame-fest you're used to getting. GL

A few years ago I had 3 Oscars and a Red Bellied Pacu in a 125G. Along with a couple more fish and it was not big enough. A 55G is not big enough for either. No insult intended. It is a learning process. My advise would be to upgrade as soon as you can afford to.
