Male Or Female??

Hello,

I was just asking at what size can you tell what sex cichla are. I know you can tell by the anal fin, and the humps on the males when they are older, but what size are they when you can really tell. I have 3 monos that are all about 6inches, is that to small to tell. here are some pics of them..

ok, at what size can you or is it just the fish its self??

At 10" you should be able to tell by physical traits unless you now how to vent them

Still to small to determine sex, wait till they're about 12'' to get a accurate answer.

I think at 10" Monos should be able to be sexed. Azul, Orinos ect would prob be more difficult

ok. And another question. When do pbass breed?? Is it over a foot??

At around 8 inch u shud be able to vent them..ive done it plenty of times at lfs...maybe a little bit smaller but it depends on the fish..females r o0 and makes n 0>
