Male or Female?

hey everyone i just got this sen a couple of days ago for free and i was wondering if it is male or female. what do you guys think?

I don't see an anal fin that fin that is shown in picture 3 thats not the anal fin i don't see one. Thats probably why you got it free. (discarded breeding bichir/ didn't look good enough)

It wasnt a breeding bichir idk why it dosent have an ainil fin it was a guys pet and now its my pet

Unless you were looking to breeding it i don't think it changes anything ( i would still love mine lol) if its a female it doesn't need the anal fin (from what i know) but if it is male than it's not breeding material but like i said unless your breeding it it won't make a difference. Lol

i know (back to topic) you really can't truly tell unless there is an anal fin. But since you have a senegalus females usually grow larger than males. When you hear the sens getting to 12-16 it's usually the females. So if yours when it's older gets to the upper side of the 12+ range (again you can't tell for sure) you can assume its a female.
