it's a young, ~24cm lapradei




and a second, what are the sexes?


I watch the male the lap unfortunately .... if I'm wrong ...i hope..

Tough when they are under about 26cm. Feed em a bit and check again in about 6 months. One way to tell is that on the males, the first spine of their anal fin is at least 1/2 the total length of the fin. Based on this and your pics, I would say your lapradei is a female. Not sure if your Ornates are the same though. The top pic looks like a male, bottom female. It is difficult when they are young. Hope this helps.

Yes, I know it's hard. The ornate two-aware, they've grown up. Both fin spacing of settled on trying, but only time will decide.
