To me it looks female but I have absolutely no clue!!!! The only reason I say that is because of its dorsal fins. Hopefully someone else chimes in😊

With these, you can't tell - until they are about 2 or 3 times that size. GORGEOUS fish though!

Thanks for the input has rapidly become one of my favs here and is surely starting to show some of that black belt attitude especially during feeding time
