Here's a little history about my jagxdovii. mother was a dovii and father a jag. this was the largest of the fry so I kept it in hopes it was a male. after a few months i was positive it was female. every thing about her was either female jag or dovii. Now 2.5 years later " she" has failed to even produce a single egg. even my 7 inch female dovii has spit out out her first batch of eggs. I've never even seen the tube drop at all. All of a sudden though it's color is changing and her markings are turning into male dovii looking spotting. let me know what you think

Help yourself and vent the fish since its big enough.
Even if it was female it wouldnt matter since she didnt lay eggs in over two years , woah

The body shape looks like a male dovii but then again this aint no dovii. I'd vent it.

I need to look at some videos first. I've never vented any of my fish before. I'll try tonight. Thanks for the replies

these are the best I could get. hopefully they can tell one of you guys something so I don't have to take " her" out of the tank. this is all this fish has ever shown. it's never stuck out any farther, or got any bigger.
