Shorting of venting, I don't think there is a way to tell with any confidence the sex of your synspilum at that size. As they mature males have a steeper head profile, but that would not be apparent until it is larger (based on the ornaments I'm assuming your fish is ~4"). Colors are quite similar between the sexes.
