Grammode cichlid. Took the candidate from a friend because it was beating up his fish. He thought it might of been a mix of a yellow jacket & red tiger.

I would say 5".

hard to tell that young/small. fin nips do not help. if it grows another 4 inches in the next 5 or 6 months def a male and will show as a male.
