I moved my breeding pair of paradise fish into a 20 tall with good current to prevent another spawning. But in the high-current environs, he simply blew a new kind of nest in the far corner of the tank. This nest is extremely high in protein and made of smaller bubbles stacked very high and not very wide. In the ten gallon he made a very betta-like white, broad nest. Now he's made a dark yellow tall goopy nest clearly designed to withstand current. This new nest is also more like a ball than a disk. Truly fascinating. I had no idea he had tricks like this up his sleeve. And now I have another batch of fry to deal with! Aaargh!
