Hey guys.
My WC Nigerian sen is being a bit of a numbnut with the lady, see here:

She is spending lots of time hanging in the floating plants or avoiding the Male in general, he's a nippy little A-hole at the moment and it's getting bothersome.

The classic solution is another poly, but I have to be careful since:
A: They are impossible to find
B: Nice ones like dels are expensive
C: My tank isn't the largest (70 gals)
D: Basically no water changes due to drought (1x a month)

What's the game plan guys? Don't want to have to sell off a sen eventually, some input would be appreciated :)

If it gets worse like ripping of fins seperate. My cb Sen gets that way every so often but just nips like your male is doing.

Have you tried dropping a phone or tablet into the tank for her so she can make a #metoo post on facebook and twitter?

lol

Hendre you might try adding a floating hide, I made one out of black plastic canvas and mine love it and it would give her another place to hide

What i would do is take out the male for the meantime, re-arrange the tank and let the female settle in the tank, after 4-6 days re-introduce the male in the tank and watch it carefully.
I'm doing a major rescape soon. It's an idea

I think it's probably due to breeding behaviour. Before it was reversed!

I have the little ropes now too, hopefully the polys bother each other less :)
