male ray too aggressive

my male is way too aggressive towards one of my female ray....is there n e way i can make him not so aggressive towards her...male is about 13" and female is about 16"....they are house together with two other female rays that are about 12"....i've section and isolate the female so she can heal...but when i let her go...the male would attack her again and only that one female....n e ideas wat i can do besides seperating them totally.

I think its some sort of breeding thing, sucks for the female tho. damn abusive bf's

Thats why females have to be bigger for breeding because they take a lot of aggression from the male when they're breeding.
