oops...was going to post the xilo pictures in another thread..oh well. lol 3 of the pics are of my F1 male xiloaensis from Rapps. He's about 4 years old, 10" SL and very thick.
Unfortunately no. The male xilo has never shown any interest in breeding. Of course it could be because there's a lot of commotion in the tank due to the number of fish. I would probably have a lot better luck if I moved the male and one or both female xilo's to their own divided tank but don't have the spare tank at the moment and not really interested in breeding right now anyway.
The orange midas has the brightest orange I've seen on one in person. I swear this guy almost glows in the tank. lol Unfortunately the pics don't pic up just how bright the color is. I used to feed exclusively ken's fish pellets but about a year and a half ago I started ordering NLS and have been feeding them mostly NLS with some kens pellets and Xtreme mixed in on occasion.
