I purchased Rupert (First Pic), along with 4 of his sisters, back in October from Aquabid. They were all about 1 inch...This alpha male is about 5 inches now. I just ordered a few King Kamafa and Thai silks. IF he was too breed, will he be passing on some good genes? What do you think?

Crazy question...I still have 2 females from the 5 i originally purchased (may 2 R.I.P)....one has all but stopped growing at 1.5. The other female (which I have for sale on aquabid- http://www.aquabid.com/cgi-bin/auction/auction.cgi?fwflowerhorn&1342034991) is about 3 inches (Second pic.. what do you think?). Do fish "inbreed?" They are brother and sister!

Do you think he will breed with the incoming King Kamfa's or Thai Silks once they come of age?

Personally I would not use him to breed because I don't think he has much potential to make good looking fry.

As for inbreeding, yes, it is possible.

He is most likely fertile, so he can breed with any willing female.
