I finally think I have a male http://www.gcca.net/fom/Pseudotropheus_crabro.htm

Went to the pet store and found a male Kenyi, (FINALLY) got 3 small red zebras and another FM Arautus (still trying) my male arautus doesn't like girls I guess. When I got home one of my trhee bumblebee's was almost pure black and chasing the other 2 which are slightly larger than he is. I was starting to wonder if I would ever find the males needed for my tank.

I'm sure picture will follow if all works out.

are the arautus small? Males do not color up till late often, if that is the case you may be adding more males pretty much putting them to their death...

Yes they are small, about 2" - 2.5". The male is about 4". It seems he likes the one I just added, so hopefully it will be ok.

Most likely the others were uncolored males, that he killed...

I think that was most likely the case. I am also thinking of getting 3 or 4 small ones in the morning and let it play out.
