Mali Uromastyx with tortoises?

Without the reference to a cat and scolding me can you explain why this combo would be bad? I know it is not ideal to do this, but to say people don't would not be truthful they just don't advertise it. When I was a kid I had a red foot tortoise that lived with a red tegu for most of both their lives with no issues. Definately was weird but worked very well.zfoster22;2165670; said:

Both are arid land animals ,both herbivor and I would put my money in that they will pretty much ignor each other. Give it a try BUT you must do estrict quarentine on your new mali for at least 6 moths prior to putting him in with the tortoises! Why? Well, besides being a normal procedure when you mix extablished animals whit new ones, I must worn you that Uromastyx is very prone to internal parasites and that they would be easily outcross to your turts. So you must at least try to break the cicle. Would also be marvelous for your chances that you purchased a captive bred animal, which aint that dificult
