ok so get the tank up and running about a week now ..found out just 5 min ago that one of the pvc pipe starting to drip water on where is glue together coupling ....i dont really want to cut the pvc off and do it again with more coupling ....i was wondering get some siilecon and put some outside the coupling where is leak ...WILL THIS WORK??? ps; its not a big leak but geting in my nerve when i saw that

unfortunatly it will probably not hold. In real big emergencies I have used epoxy for behind the tank plumbing that I did not want to completely tear down.

superglue would work...many thin layers. I suggest Super glue because it works on wet surfaces.

All those things are just temp fixes. They will all leak again someday. The only way to do it right, is to do it over again. You could cut out a section, and use a telescopic coupling.

I really think supergllue will fix it for good.

I work with PVC for a living. If you don't fix it from the inside, it will be a weak spot, and eventually leak again.

I had the same problem..i used epoxy on the out side. work well, and it's very strong.

PS>..make sure you use the water proof epoxy.

Fix it how ever you want, it won't be as strong as when it was originally put together.
